Sara Egely

Family Ministries Pastor

Sara was born in England and moved with her family to Kelowna, BC when she was a child. When her parents relocated to Alberta, Sara made her home in High River, along with her husband Matt. In 2013 they moved to Calgary and became members at Oak Park Church. Since that time they have both been very involved as volunteers with our Youth. In 2016 they were blessed with their first child, Mason, who brings them much joy. In November 2020 a beautiful daughter, Alexa, joined their little family.

Sara joined our staff as Youth Pastor in March 2018. In February 2020 her role expanded to include our Kids’ Park Children’s Ministry. She is also attending Alberta Bible College’s PACE program. Together with her deep faith in Jesus Christ, great sense of humour and ability to really relate to others, Sara is using her gifts and passion for Children and Youth to serve God in our community.
