Ben Joubert

Youth Pastor

Ben was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. At age 15, he moved with his family to Calgary, Alberta. After connecting with Power to Change at the University of Calgary, Ben saw the goodness of Christian community and the impact it can have on someone’s life. He decided to pursue a theology degree at Ambrose university where he met his now wife Chantal. They were married in 2020 and have since then enjoyed learning together where God is leading them, and playing many many board games.

Ben loves to help others see how God speaks through Scripture. In the Bible, God encourages us, demonstrates His love, shows us who He is, and challenges us with a call to know Him more. Ben wants to teach so that others may see how God can guide us through Scripture. The Bible has been an important part to Ben’s story and he wishes to pass that on to the youth, showing them how the Bible can help them in the challenges they face everyday.
