Helping Hands

Free clothing and groceries for those in need.

Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 11:00 am. Doors open at 8:30am.

Oak Park Church Helping Hands program is a vibrant hub of generosity and compassion, made possible by your unwavering support.
Every week, dedicated volunteers gather on Wednesdays to sort and organize donations, ensuring that essential items reach those who need them most.

Then, on Thursdays, volunteers fueled by a shared desire to serve, create a warm and welcoming space where over 120 families can access food, clothing, and household necessities.

Do you have gently used items taking up space in your home? Remember, your unwanted items can be a treasure for someone else! We welcome donations of:

* Gently used clothing & shoes (summer clothing is in demand right now, clean & in good condition)

* Small household goods & appliances (clean & in working order)

* Toys & children's items (clean & in good condition)

* Toiletries

Easy Ways to Share Your Blessings:
* Drop Off: Bring your donations to Oak Park Church of Christ (Wednesday and Thursday mornings ideally)

* If you have or know of a business with possible recurring donations, we would love to hear from you!

Please contact our office manager, Padraig via email [email protected] or 403.251.5150 to discuss how we can partner together.

Due to the growing needs of our community, we are actively seeking more volunteers with trucks to help with pick-ups to join our driver list. If you are able to lend a hand usually on Wednesday mornings, please contact us!
