I'm New Here

Welcome! We are so excited to have you come and visit us here at Oak Park. We have our in-person Sunday morning service, at 10am. We hope that you will enjoy your time with us! Here are a couple of things you might like to know.

New to church? Here's what to expect. We begin our service with a time of worship (music and singing), followed by a teaching time from our current sermon series, additional worship and then we partake in communion. At Oak Park, weekly communion is an important part of worship - please feel welcome to participate if you would like to. We collect an offering at the end of service. This is for our regular attendees, please feel no obligation to give.

Bringing children? We have our Sunday School called "Kids' Park" for ages two through Grade 6. They need to be registered and checked in before you take them upstairs to their classroom. (Registration happens just once (annually), so you can preregister your kids or fill out a paper copy when you arrive. Here is the link for our preregistration form.) The adults and youth worship together.

Your children are welcome to stay with you in the service and we have colouring pages for them if they do not feel comfortable going upstairs to Kids' Park.

If you have an infant or a toddler under twenty-four months, please feel free to make use of our Nursery area which is located across from the bathrooms on the main floor. The service is broadcast into this room so that you don’t have to miss it while your infant plays, naps, and/or snacks.

When the service has ended, if you dropped children off in Kids' Park please return to Kids' Park to collect them. Do not forget to bring the numbered tag you received at check-in. If you have children in Kids' Park and need to leave early, please talk with someone on our Kids' Park team before the service when you drop them off.

We're so glad you took the time to visit us online. We'd love to meet you in person and find out how we can help you take the next step in getting to know Jesus.

We know that visiting a church can be intimidating, but I assure you that we'll do whatever we can to make you feel welcome.
